"If you want to understand the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." - Nikola Tesla
Healing Touch Energy Work is an energy therapy using light or off the body touch to clear, open and balance the human energy system in order to support physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
Healing Touch complements conventional health care and is used in collaboration with other approaches to health and healing. The goals and intentions of HT are in alignment with mainstream as well as, holistic approaches to health.
Each of us has a unique bio-energetic, vibrational field which penetrates and surrounds the body. (Think Quantum Physics). This energy field is a reflection of the health of the individual. During a session the client and practitioner create an energetic partnership to facilitate the client’s health and healing by working with the Individual Energy Field (biofield) and the energy centers within the body (chakras). Restoring harmony and balance in the energy system places the client in a position to heal by creating an optimal environment for the body’s natural and innate tendency to move toward wellness. In other words, given the opportunity, your body, mind, heart and spirit want to heal and will lean toward wellness.
Healing Touch techniques are based upon healing arts concepts and holistic nursing principles which acknowledge the spiritual dimensions of all human life. No specific religious or spiritual beliefs are promoted or practiced. I encourage my clients to consider how their own spiritual beliefs and practices can be incorporated into their personal healing journey.
Healing Touch Energy Work is a research and evidenced based, standardized, international, multi-level education program in energy-based therapy. At the core of the Healing Touch Program is the requirement that students and practitioners follow a strict Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice. Healing Touch Program is nationally accredited through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the National Committee for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) and the Canadian Holistic Nurses Association (CHNA).
